What is La Vie En Rosé?

La Vie En Rosé is a Japanese Fashion gala hosted by Rosé Forêt, a non-profit located in Denver, Colorado.

Where will La Vie en Rosé take place? When is La Vie en Rosé? 

La Vie En Rosé will be taking place in Denver, Colorado on September 20-22, 2024. The event will be hosted at the Grant-Humphreys Mansion, located at 770 Pennsylvania St, Denver CO 80203.

What is the theme of the event?

The theme of this event is a modern take on the French rococo lifestyle- opulent, luxurious, and indulgent.

What is the age requirement for this event?

You must be 18 years of age or older to attend this event. Children under the age of 18 are not permitted at this event.

What activities will be available at the event?

Event activities include a social mixer, tea party, swap meet, vendor shopping, karaoke, fashion walk, masquerade, and more. More information on programming and a schedule will be available closer to the event.

Will there be an official photographer at the event?

Yes, there will be a professional photographer at the event and a dedicated area for photos. By attending the event, you have given explicit permission to be photographed or recorded by our official photographer and Rosé Forêt staff.

Where can I talk with other attendees before the event?

You can chat with other attendees in our Discord server or Facebook group. Our Discord server is the most active, and we have designated channels for event discussion there. An invite to our Discord server can be found here.

Are you accepting volunteers?

We are currently not in need of any extra volunteers. Thank you for your interest! If you would still like to contribute to the event, we always appreciate donations.

Can I hire my own photographer to take photos of me at the event?

You may hire and pay for your own photographer at the event. However, the photographer is required to purchase their own ticket to attend the event. The photographer must follow all rules and policies of the event and venue. They may not take photographs or video of anyone without explicit permission. We are unable to accommodate anyone in the venue who hasn't purchased a ticket. More information about our photo and video policy can be found on our Code of Conduct page.

Will you have food options for vegan/gluten free/(my dietary restriction)?

During the registration process, you will have a chance to provide us with any dietary restrictions and allergies that we need to know about. We are already making sure there will be plenty of vegan and gluten-free options.

How can I attend La Vie En Rosé?

What is included with the VIP package?

The VIP package includes general admission, tea party admission, early event entry, early vendor access, and a goodie bag.

Does general admission include the Tea Party?

No, general admission does not include the tea party.

Where is the Venue for La Vie En Rosé?

Will there be a room block or designated hotel for the event?

No, there will not be a room block or designated hotel for the event. For nearby hotels,

Will there be parking at the venue?

The Grant-Humphreys Mansion has free, on-site parking with limited space. There is additional parking on the street. Parking is not guaranteed, and we recommend you to use rideshare services (Lyft, Uber, etc.) or carpool to the venue.

Is the venue ADA accessible?

Yes, the Grant-Humphreys Mansion is ADA accessible with an elevator and lift.

Is smoking allowed at the venue?

Smoking is not allowed anywhere in the building and is not allowed within 20 feet of any entrance door.

Will there be a quiet area for attendees if they need some space?

Yes, we will have a designated game room/quiet area for attendees. There is also ample outdoor space for attendees to visit.

Do you have any sight-seeing recommendations?

COVID-19 Policy

What is your Covid-19 policy?

Are masks required at La Vie En Rosé?

No, masks are not required. Attendees are only required to show proof that they have the newest 2023-2024 COVID vaccine. 

Can I wear a mask at La Vie En Rosé?

Yes, attendees are allowed to wear masks at the event. However, you may be asked to remove it briefly for identification purposes. Alcohol will be optional at some areas of the event. You will legally be required to show your ID if you wish to consume any alcohol.

Where can I submit my proof of vaccination?

To submit your proof of vaccination in advance of the event, please email a copy to roseforetco@gmail.com with the name you have used to purchase your ticket in the email subject line. Otherwise, please bring a digital or physical copy of your vaccination record and present it at the registration table.

Attendees are required to have the newest 2023-2024 COVID vaccine. The 2023-2024 COVID-19 vaccines that are currently available are manufactured by Moderna, Pfizer, and Novavax.

Why are you still taking COVID-19 precautions?

Some members of the J-Fashion community are immunocompromised, and we want to give them a chance to attend the event comfortably. We reserve the right to update our COVID-19 policy given changes in Colorado Department of Public Health guidelines. 

Dress Code

What can I wear to La Vie En Rosé?

For the general event, attendees are required to wear J-Fashion or a similar style of clothing. J-Fashion includes but is not limited to EGL, Ouji, Aristocrat, Fairy-Kei, Gyaru, Decora, Otome, Mori-kei, etc. Attendees may also wear formal clothing. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

For our more formal activities at the event, such as the masquerade and tea party, attendees are required to wear semi-formal J-Fashion or formal clothing.

My partner/family member/friend doesn’t wear J-Fashion and they would like to attend. What can they wear?

We ask that non J-fashion participants wear appropriate formal, semi-formal clothing or a similar style of clothing.

Please refrain from wearing anything promoting hate speech or featuring explicit sexual imagery. Cosplay and fur-suits, full or partial, are also not allowed. We reserve the right to ask you to change your attire or leave the event, should we feel it is not appropriate.

What items are prohibited at the event?

  • Illegal substances 

  • Firearms or weapons of any kind

  • Disruptive, single-use items including but not limited to, glitter, balloons, bubbles, etc..

  • Large signs

  • Any device that makes loud, disruptive noise, such as noisemakers, megaphones, speakers, etc.

  • Any device that can cause migraines or epileptic seizures such as strobe lights
